Trinidad – A Must-See. Rolling green hills are gently kissed by azure skies. Trinidad, a UNESCO site, sits on the southern coast of Cuba. Trinidad, a town of 75,000, was founded by Spanish conquistador, Velázquez de Cuéllar, in 1514. And it is only a four hour ride from Havana.
The heart of Trinidad may be found at Plaza Mayor, a gallery of Spanish colonial architecture. It is simple to while away the afternoon strolling down cobblestone streets, sipping mojitos, listening to Cuban music, and admiring the beauty of this colonial gem.
Make sure you add Trinidad to your Cuban itinerary. Trinidad – A Must-See

We spent a week in Trinidad back in 2011. Was hands down our favorite spot in Cuba (and funny enough, few other tourists).
