Hit The Road India
In the summer of the 2012 I had an incredible experience in India. I had the opportunity to participate in the Rickshaw Challenge a 12 day rally, but in an auto-rickshaw. My friend and I navigated the rickshaw for over 2000 km. We faced many challenges during our two week: detention by the police, battling the monsoons, food sickness, Indian traffic and roads, and setting the record for running out of gas. The organizers of the event recognized us with the “Bonkers Award’, their subtle way of saying we can’t believe you finished this adventure.
What increased the incredible quotient by a factor of ten is we created a full-length, adventure travel documentary. The film was created by two talented brothers (Gor and Moosh Baghdasaryan) at Manana Films based in Yerevan Armenia. The film has been featured in Huffington Post and was the number 4 documentary on UK iTunes. Hit The Road India has been screened at the Golden Apricot Festival (2013), the Chicago South Asian Film Festival (2014), and HipTrip Film Festival in Bucharest (2015).
We were a top selling documentary on iTunes and also recognized by Vimeo (see below). The film was also licensed by Virgin Australian and KLM playing on the airplanes.
We have made this film available to watch on many devices … iTunes, Vimeo, IndieReign, and direct from us. Click here for all of the options and pricing. Or click to Amazon right below.
