The Extraordinary Travel Festival 2026 is bringing together some of the most influential leaders in the global travel community to help travelers create richer, deeper, and more meaningful experiences around the world.
One of the core goals of the Extraordinary Travel Festival (ETF) is to connect travelers directly with the thought leaders, founders, innovators, and industry insiders shaping the future of travel. By hearing from these experts, attendees stay informed about the latest travel trends, destination updates, technology tools, communities, and opportunities that can transform how they explore the world.
This year’s lineup includes influential travel personalities and founders such as Matt Gray of Pangea, Stefan Krasowski of Every Passport Stamp, Orest Zub of NomadMania, and Ian Cumming of Travel Massive.
NomadMania Returns to the Extraordinary Travel Festival
Orest Zub and NomadMania will once again partner with ETF in Bangkok for what promises to be one of the highlights of the festival.
During our latest podcast discussion, we explored major updates to the NomadMania regions system and the continued expansion of the platform. NomadMania has become one of the world’s leading travel communities for serious and adventurous travelers tracking destinations and unique world regions.
A major highlight of the festival will be the in-person NomadMania Travel Awards, taking place on Sunday evening, October 25, 2026, during ETF. The awards ceremony is expected to be one of the most exciting and entertaining social events of the festival weekend.
In addition, Orest Zub will host a special panel featuring experienced NomadMania power users who will share strategies, insights, and practical tips on how travelers can maximize the value of the NomadMania platform and community.
Travelers interested in international meetups should also note there is still time to participate in the upcoming NomadMania event in Brazil this June.
Travel Massive Partners with ETF for the Third Time
Ian Cumming, founder of Travel Massive, will also return as a partner for the third consecutive Extraordinary Travel Festival.
Travel Massive is one of the largest travel networking organizations in the world, connecting more than 80,000 travel insiders, creators, entrepreneurs, media professionals, and passionate travelers through both online communities and in-person events.
As part of the partnership, Travel Massive will host the official ETF Happy Hour Meetup on Thursday, October 22, 2026, creating another outstanding networking opportunity for festival attendees.
Ian Cumming will also moderate a featured travel technology panel with industry experts including:
- Matt Gray of Pangea
- Keith Van of seats.aero
- Joel Oleson, known within the travel community as “193er”
The discussion will focus on emerging travel technology, tools for frequent travelers, loyalty programs, award flights, and the future of travel innovation.
Travel Massive will also host the Travel Massive Asia Conference 2026 in Vietnam this August. After attending last year’s conference, I’m looking forward to returning again this year.

All three filmmakers and travelers will attend the screenings in person and participate in live audience Q&A sessions.
A Global Conversation Across Three Continents
This podcast conversation truly reflected the global nature of the travel community. I joined from Bangkok while Orest Zub connected from Brazil and Ian Cumming joined from Tasmania.
If you are passionate about extreme travel, travel networking, destination communities, travel technology, and meeting some of the most accomplished travelers in the world, ETF 2026 in Bangkok is shaping up to be one of the premier travel events of the year.
