I have spent multiple months in Bangkok, but there is never a shortage of options to stay. Agoda is listing over 1300 hotels in Bangkok alone. Options range from various hostels on Kao Sarn Road the backpacker nexus or grab a $400 room at the Mandarin Hotel.

Anyone who has spent time in Bangkok realizes it is imperative to be near the BTS (metro). Bangkok traffic is horrific. Being a short walk from the BTS will make your stay that much more convenient. Sukhumvit has unlimited options for nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. I recommend the Grand President on Soi 11. This 400 hundred plus room hotel is the perfect mix of value, comfort, and convenience.

The hotel is spread over three towers, the first tower being the most luxurious. The hotel has multiple pools and a fitness center. There are also several restaurant options with discounts for being a guest.

Tower Hotel in Bangkok

I have always stayed in Tower 3, the most affordable. The rooms are good sized, clean, and attractive. They come with a mini-kitchen and a strong AC. The Wi-Fi is free but there is room for improvement in speed and in consistency.

There are too many restaurants, bars, and clubs to list which are seconds away. The Nana BTS is only a several minute walk.

Depending on your timing, you can grab these rooms at under $50 a night.  Check Agoda to see the price!
